A lot of our service users here at the training services in Sunbeam House Services attend Shoreline leisure in Bray and take part in many of the various activities offered there, such as swimming, gym, aqua aerobics, football as well as using facilities like the sauna and steam room.

Our clients are adults with intellectual disabilities and some also have sensory or physical disabilities. We have large and small groups as well as individuals using Shoreline throughout the week. We find the staff accommodating and friendly and are sensitive to individual needs.

Physical access throughout the building and in the car park is trouble-free, and there is a hoist available to help lift people into the pool if necessary as well as the use of a ‘wet wheelchair’. There is plenty of space for changing and showers and the facilities are always very clean.

Overall we find Shoreline to be a professional service with a friendly atmosphere where our clients enjoy using fitness and leisure facilities in an integrated setting.
